About Everyday Mom Designs

Ashley and LealaHey there,

My name is Ashley. That's a picture of me and my 1 year-old daughter, Leala. I absolutely love scrapbooking. It started in high school when I had to make a senior scrapbook. I just couldn't stop after that. At this point, I'm not even sure how many personal scrapbook pages I have right now.

Many years later when I got pregnant with my daughter, I kicked it up to high gear, so I could get as much done as I could before our baby came. I knew it would be hard to scrapbook while I had a newborn. Well, my scrapbooking days came to an end sooner than I had hoped when I was about 7-8 months pregnant. There was just no way for me to be comfortable and enjoy it anymore.

Once my daughter was about 6 months old, I gave up on the idea of scrapbooking. I sold all of my embellishments and paper, and actually bought several premade scrapbook pages. I thought it was great that even though I didn't have the time to make my own scrapbook pages, I could still continue to keep up with my scrapbooks. So, up until March of 2009, I haven't scrapbooked at all.

My daughter has grown up a little and I have more time to myself now. She's still a handful, but with her being more independent and having my husband out of the Navy and working at home, I am able to actually do something for myself. So, I decided to scrapbook again. I am so happy to be able to get back into it and be able to share my work with others. I know there are many people out there who just don't have the time or energy anymore, and it makes me happy to be able to help them keep up with their special memories.

My husband helped me set up my own scrapbooking station with everything I need. I love it!

Everyday Mom Designs Creativity Corner

It's nothing fancy, but it's my own creativity corner where I have my own Cricut Expression® machine with all the cartridges I need, over 1,500 cardstock pages, over 50 different types of ribbons, over 30 archival adhesive tapes and over 4,500 brads of various colors and sizes. I also have hundreds of clear sleeves, cardboard inserts, cardboard boxes and a 600-foot roll of 50lb wrapping paper. There's also a few dozen other tools I use.

I obviously can't fit everything into my corner, but you can tell I am very serious about what I do. I know that not everyone wants to have all of these things stocked up in their house to make their own scrapbook pages. By having all of these things myself, I can save you time, money and effort by creating beautiful and meaningful premade scrapbook pages for you to put precious pictures of your friends and family into. You'll be able to enjoy it for many years to come and share it with all your loved ones.
